Public benefits

To address the social, emotional and educational needs of the most vulnerable young people from North & West Belfast. The benefits of this purpose will include children & young people involved feeling more confident in themselves, gaining life experience and the ability and desire to become part of community, as well as the desire to achieve

goals in life. Issues such as suicide, drug abuse, mental health, anger and racism will be addressed providing a forum for learning and development for all who participate. This will be demonstrated through feedback and surveys with all participants to gauge how well the project is doing and how much of an impact the project is having on participants. No harm will come to any participants of the project. The benefit is for children & young people through North & West Belfast. There will be no private benefits for anyone through this charity or the purposes of the charity. Provide a safe environment for personal development programmes, youth clubs, drop in, events and trips for young people & children to play, interact and develop together. The benefits of this purpose are that a neutral safe environment will be provided for children & young people to meet together without fear. They will be able to play, meet together, learn and develop. The benefit is social inclusion, integration and cohesion. In addition young people learn the benefit of sharing, of interdependence and the need for tolerance and greater acceptance within society. This will be demonstrated through feedback and surveys with all participants to gauge how well the project is doing and how much of an impact the project is having on participants. No harm will come to any participants of the project. The benefit is for children & young people through North & West Belfast. There will be no private benefits for anyone through this charity or the purposes of the charity.

What your organisation does

The Warehouse Project organises, plans, establishes and puts into practice projects, programmes, and events to help vulnerable children & young people in North & West Belfast gain self confidence, learn and play in a safe environment. Youth club, drop In, music, sports, arts, personal development courses are all avenues used to help participants

in all areas of their development. A mentoring programme will also help meet one on one with young people to help give them extra encouragement and motivation to pursue change and continue to develop.

Charitable purposes

The group is established to promote personal development, positive mental health and physical activities for the benefit of individuals and families from North and West Belfast and its surrounding environment in County Antrim (hereinafter called the area of benefit) without distinction of age, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion by associating statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance health and well being within the area in particular: (a) To advance the well being of beneficiaries by the provision of a safe environment and an awareness of personal, mental and physical wellbeing.
