1 The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is to locate, preserve and conserve genuine historical artefacts relating to SS Nomadic for future generations. This can be demonstrated in the purchase and restoration of SS Nomadic's Lifeboat the last confirmed White Star Line Lifeboat in existence. The beneficiaries are the general public of the
present and future generations There is no harm or private benefit as a result of this purpose. 2 The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is that members of the public are better educated in the design, construction and working life of SS Nomadic. This can be demonstrated in the publication of our magazine and speaking engagements for local interest groups along with on-going maintenance our volunteers assist with on the ship itself. The beneficiaries are our members, the general public of Northern Ireland in particular and worldwide in general. There is no harm or private benefit as a result of this purpose. 3 The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is to promote interest in SS Nomadic and her wider place in international maritime history. This can be demonstrated in the publication of our magazine and speaking engagements for local interest groups. The beneficiaries are our members, the general public of Northern Ireland in particular and worldwide in general. There is no private benefit as a result of this purpose.

The Society produces a members journal with relevant articles regarding the design, building and history of SS Nomadic and other White Star Line vessels. We also produce items of interest for our website and have given talks to other interested groups including local history societies in Northern Ireland. We have saved and restored the last
confirmed White Star Line lifeboat known to exist and research and locate other original artefacts belonging to the vessel. We have a core team of volunteers who help out with general maintenance on-board SS Nomadic including in-situ artefacts, the vessel herself and her historic surroundings ie the Hamilton Graving Dock

Charitable purposes
1. To find, record, preserve and report of artefacts relating to the last White Star Line ship SS Nomadic as built by Harland and Wolff, Belfast in 1911 to tender to the Olympic Class Liners including Titanic. 2. To advance education and research into the design, building and Life of SS Nomadic and to disseminate the results to the members and general public. 3. To promote and develop interest, research and knowledge relating to the SS Nomadic and all matters relating to or associated with her, and without prejudice to the forgoing her place in maritime and social history
