Purpose 1 – the advancement of education The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include an increase of children and adults from Pakistani community in education which improves literacy, learning cultural awareness and educates the children and adults on how to integrate with other communities. There is no harm flowing from this purpose.

The beneficiaries of this purpose are children and adults migrated from Pakistan and those who have been born in Northern Ireland with a Pakistani heritage. These benefits are evidenced through community feedback. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose. Purpose 2 – the advancement of citizenship or community development The direct benefits that flow from this purpose include an increase of a better educated Pakistani community in Northern Ireland who are aware of culture, integration, empowerment, up skilling and capacity building. These benefits can be demonstrated through community feedback. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries of Northern Ireland Pakistani Association are both Pakistani and local community by building good community relations through social integration. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose. Purpose 3 – the advancement of the arts, culture, heritage or science The direct benefit that flows from this purpose includes Pakistani community members come together and use arts as a social and creative opportunity which instils confidence, strengthens identity and self-esteem. Being creative together will collectively address issues of diversity and intercultural relationships. These benefits are evidenced through community feedback. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. The beneficiaries of this purpose are the Pakistani community members living in Northern Ireland. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose. There is no private benefit flowing from our purposes.

What your organisation does

To achieve above purposes The Northern Ireland Pakistani Cultural Association organises cultural awareness programmes, Urdu classes, and English classes. We organise and assist in organising workshops, meetings, exhibitions, events and activities consistent with NIPCA’s objects. We engage in collaborative working, through arts and cultural

activity throughout the Northern Ireland Pakistani community.

Charitable purposes

The Association is established to promote the benefit of the Pakistani community in Northern Ireland by promoting Pakistani culture, advancing education, relieving social distress and by providing information for the promotion of health and recreation with the aim of improving the conditions of life of the said community.
