... [more] [less]What your organisation does
Our organisation was established to fundraise for activities within the school which are central to the children's educational enhancement. Our organisation meets on a regular basis to discuss fundraising ideas to support and benefit the school as a whole. Our organisation at all times has the interest of the pupils of the school at its
forefront. There was never an organisation established in the past to fundraise for the school and we felt this was essential so the children would benefit from our endeavours. Our first priority is to establish an IT suite within the school which will not only benefit the children who are presently in the school but for future generations of the school. The school has been attended by generation after generation of families and we feel that our organisation will continue to maintain that link in the future. We believe our organisation which is unique to our community has helped forge links within the community and brought together an improved community spirit, which we felt was lacking within our community. We feel very proud as parents to see our children strive in our rural school, that is why as parents we volunteer our time and effort to support the school in whichever way we can.
