This will include upgrades to their education facilities such as classroom, school building and play areas. They will have the correct tools such as text books, pens and pencils, exercise books, materials and equipment which will help them
learn. The benefit will be seen through improvements in exam results both at individual, class, school and village levels. An increase in children progressing to higher education followed by increased job opportunities. This benefit to the children will be recognised by the parents, the winder community and via independent assessments from education authorities. Health The benefit is aimed firstly at children and young people in the prevention and relief of sickness, disease or suffering, the promotion of health and both conventional and complementary methods of treatment. This will also include activity aimed at saving and protecting the lives of those in danger. Improved health care through organised medical screening programmes, regular check-ups and reviews with doctors. Free health screening projects for those who cannot afford to be seen by a doctor or in countries where there is no public health care. It will also cover the payment of medicine, medical supplies, operations, after care and to support the medical staff providing the service. The benefit will be seen through improvements in children’s health and the knock on to their families, schools and villages. Less sickness and death recorded amongst the children and recognition from the society on the improvements made to the standard of health care. Welfare The benefit is aimed firstly at children and young people who are not able to provide for themselves. Improvement in living conditions and relief of poverty providing a better way of life through the provision of necessary materials to children who lack basic shelter, clothing and food. The children will benefit with an improved standard of living and help to enjoy their childhood; this may be through clothing, food or hygiene packs, supply clean water and food or uniforms for schools. This will include feeding programmes within schools to ensure a child will have one cooked meal per day. The benefit will be seen through feedback from local village authorities, the children, their parents, teachers and the wider community on the improved standards in living. Evident through the physical presence of basic shelter which was not there before. Children will be thankful for receiving regular meals. Spiritual The benefit is aimed firstly at children and young people to share the gospel for them to decide for themselves whether or not to become a Christian. As a charity we will not force our beliefs on any person or restrict to any one section of the community but rather promote and share so that others can decide for themselves. The benefit here is to see lives transformed as children and young people become godly people who fear God and look to live honourably for Him while becoming better citizens in society, their families and communities. Benefit supplied by trips and activities; Bible camps, Sunday Schools, trips, lessons and Bibles. The benefit will be seen through happier children and young people with a new sense of purpose in their lives looking to walk right before God and society. The community in which they live will see a change in their behaviour and favour the difference that has been made. There will be no private benefit to the charity or the trustees. For each of the areas there may be incidental benefit for adults and the general public/workers in the provision of this purpose. Eg: Teachers, Doctors, Nurses, Pastors receiving a salary who then work with the children in schools, hospitals and places of worship.
