Public benefits
Purpose To proclaim the Gospel of Salvation and Deliverance of Our Lord Jesus Christ, What benefit flows from this purpose? The direct benefit which flows from our purpose is the “Advancement of Religion” which results in a better morally informed community, and improved knowledge of and response to the gospel of Salvation. Can you demonstrate
this? This benefit has been evidenced by: the provision of a place of public worship since 1996; the witness of the regular attenders; and the annual report of the Trustees which contains details of the Public Worship and other ancillary activities Is any harm or possibility of harm outweighed by the benefit? We know of no harm that has been or may be caused by our purpose. Public element Who is the benefit for? The charity's beneficiaries are: the general public and anyone who attends our meetings. Is there any private benefit? Is It incidental and necessary? Two UK persons receive a private benefit in return for preaching/teaching (around 48 hours/year plus preparation) and for all pastoral and counselling services which are provided free to individuals upon request. The private benefit total for both persons has not exceeded £3,130/year, being around 11% of our annual expenditure. This is both incidental and necessary.
