FRCI believe their purposes are of public benefit and have outlined these beliefs below: I. The relief of unemployment for the benefit of the public in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment. • The benefit of relieving unemployment will enhance the public and community: a. by offering access to employment
opportunities b. increased empowerment for and finances for good of all in community. c. provision of education and training facilities and d. CV and interview skills to support progression towards employment. These benefits are demonstrated through achievement of formal qualifications and records of progression to employment by participants who complete our programmes. FRCI’s beneficiaries are those in Fermanagh and surrounding counties who are unemployed or economically inactive. Provision of this purpose does not lead to any harm Provision of this purpose does not lead to any private benefit. II. To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society. • The benefits of social inclusion for all members of the public are: a) increased social standing within their communities b) increased confidence and self esteem c) making positive contributions in their public life. The benefits are demonstrated by participants becoming involved in voluntary activities to develop communities. FRCI’s beneficiaries are those in Fermanagh and surrounding counties who are unemployed or economically inactive. Provision of this purpose does not lead to any harm Provision of this purpose does not lead to any private benefit. III. To develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Fermanagh and bordering counties in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society • The benefits of developing the capacity and skills of members of the socially and economically disadvantaged are: a) increased knowledge and understanding to enhance their overall standing in the community b) increased formal qualifications c) identification of potential employment opportunities. These benefits are demonstrated through achievement of formal qualifications and records of progression to employment by participants who complete our programmes. FRCI’s beneficiaries are those in Fermanagh and surrounding counties who are unemployed or economically inactive. Provision of this purpose does not lead to any harm Provision of this purpose does not lead to any private benefit. IV. The prevention or relief of poverty in Fermanagh and bordering counties by providing services to individuals in to prevent or relieve poverty. • Benefits of preventing or relieving poverty are: a) Assistance to complete courses b) Improve quality of communities c) Ability to become more progressive d) Supporting provision of grants e) Guidance on additional grants These benefits are demonstrated through achievement of formal qualifications, records of community activity and records of progression beyond time spent with FRCI. FRCI is committed to addressing the issue of long term unemployment and to develop a well trained and motivated workforce with a strong work ethic. The training content of our programmes is of the highest quality and focused on transferable skills and labour market needs. This is underpinned by monitoring supervision/mentoring and supported by
an exit strategy designed to maximise the positive outcomes of the programmes.
