engaged individuals in day to day community life. • More informed Communities and individuals about alcohol and Drugs which will help them to make more informed choices about their alcohol and/or drug use and in turn support other people to make informed choices about theirs. No harm flows from the purposes of the organisation. The charity’s beneficiaries are individuals, families and communities. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is Governance training for the Executive Committee and this is incidental and necessary because we need to ensure the effective management and overall governance of the running of the organisation.

What your organisation does

we provide following across NI: a. Independent information, support and counselling to individuals affected by theirs or someone else's alcohol and/or drug misuse. This is done through 1-1 counselling and group support to assist them to better manage their situation, develop their knowledge about the real impact of alcohol and/or drugs on them

and others, review and address triggers for misuse and support them to develop strategy's to better manage their alcohol and/or drug usage. b. Training and support to increase knowledge, skills and ability of staff/volunteers within the statutory, voluntary, community and charitable organisations to effectively identify, support and signpost individuals to access appropriate addiction support services to meet the client needs c. General awareness talks and information stands etc to increase awareness about the real impact of alcohol and/or drug misuse on individuals, families and communities within NI and help them identify, support and signpost individuals to appropriate addiction support services.

Charitable objects and purposes exclusively; So far as is charitable in law so to do in particular the Charity is established raise awareness and promote the prevention, diagnosis, relief, understanding and treatment of addiction and substance abuse and aiding by all means practical those suffering from or who may whether directly or indirectly in any way be affected by same and further to promote such activities as may lead to a widespread understanding of the nature, causes and effects and incidence of addiction and substance abuse
