Public benefits

The benefit that flows from the first parts of the purposes of Larne Gospel Hall “to proclaim the Christian gospel” and “to advance the evangelical Christian faith” is that religion is advanced through the Christian Gospel. The moral framework of the Christian Gospel, and personal faith in Jesus Christ, promotes benefits in people’s lives,

enhancing integrity and good citizenship. The benefit that flows from the remaining purposes is that people benefit from the relief provided through the charitable giving supported by and promoted by Larne Gospel Hall. A collateral benefit of the purposes is that the Gospel of Christ affects all in enhancing their moral character and giving them a sense of altruism in helping others. These benefits are demonstrated through the accounts of Larne Gospel Hall in showing very generous giving, and letters of gratitude from recipients. The beneficiaries of the first parts of the purposes are all those who choose to respond to the gospel. The beneficiaries of the second parts of the purposes are all those in the area who can benefit from the pastoral care provided. Other beneficiaries are inhabitants of deprived areas who benefit from the charitable donations generated by Larne Gospel Hall. There is no harm flowing from any part of these purposes and no private benefit is gained from them.
