Public benefits
The organisation provides benefit via a reduction in the feelings of confusion, loneliness and isolation that many of the amputees face, done through regular public events in our local areas of Armagh Down and Antrim. These events give the opportunity to those affected to mix more with the community and have a better quality of life and
communication. The organisation also brings benefit through the provision of sporting facilities and training for potential athletes, which gives the opportunity to compete and travel to our members. We also provide a benefit to the families of those affected in that we provide a rest period for the families in our provision of a building and environment that the members can avail of outside home. The Public Benefit is demonstrated to the amputees, their families and the wider community in which they are involved by them; - Gaining confidence by interaction with other similar people such as themselves. - Becoming more mobile by actively participating in physical activities. - Feeling less conscious of their loss of limbs with their attendance and participation in our various events and fun days. No Harm or private benefit arises as a result of the Charities Purposes.

The charity builds relationships and works with like minded charities for the good of the limb loss communities in Northern Ireland. We are striving to have Limbless Supports voice heard in the Northern Ireland Assembly. We also assist with benefits advice / DLA for the limb loss community and organise a variety of social events for the
communities and families throughout the year. The charity promotes and encourages active participation by those who have suffered limb loss and only this month we are attending the Amputee Games, which are being held in Stoke Mandeville, England later this month.
