Public benefits

The purpose of the Association is to work for the benefit of all tenants who live in the Estate/Scheme where they reside as Tenants of Fold Housing Association by engaging in activities or providing equipment and facilities to promote recreation and advance the health and wellbeing of the tenants. The benefits which flow from this purpose include

additional resources, knowledge of needs and links built within the community in which the residents live. There is increased participation in activities and events to ensure the attainment of the tenants to increase their skills, enjoyment and social interaction as well as improvement in mental and physical health. This is demonstrated by having an active management committee that works in partnership with the tenants and Fold Association, local residents and engages support. Benefits are also demonstrated through the tenants having access to interaction classes, arts and crafts, culture and heritage. Events will ensure links with the local community. The purpose will not lead to harm. The benefit is for the residents of Neillsbrook Fold Tenants Association and the local community. There are no private benefits flowing from the purpose of the Association.

What your organisation does

They put on classes and events that are aimed to stimulate the mind and body and are suitable for all ages but especially the elderly. This events are aimed especially to provide social interaction which improves state of mind and promotes a sense of well being. These are events such as coffee mornings, lunch clubs, seasonal events, bus outings,

art and craft classes, exercise classes. They also hold events to raise money for other charitys.
