Public benefits

The public benefit which flows from our purpose includes encouragement and increased education of beneficiaries which in turn enables them to be in a position to help both themselves and others; decreased poverty related malnutrition and ill health; better use of land and increased income which leads to more food, jobs and better sanitary

conditions; better access to clean water which will enrich the lives of families now and in the future; increased ability for future generations to have compassion for others and work as a team in order to achieve more for themselves and others less able to look after themselves by furthering the religious education of children through the Catholic Churches' Teachings. These services then enable the children/young people to grow in the Catholic Faith and in turn pass this on to further generations. It gives them the opportunity to become doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers etc and become worthwhile contributors to their communities. The benefit is demonstrated through feedback from beneficiaries, correspondence and updates from those we support. The beneficiaries of our purposes are: Children of the Pattaya, Thailand; Burmese children who are looked after by The Thai Childrens Trust, London; poverty stricken people who the Trocaire organisation look after; cancer research; The tender loving home in Johannesburgh for AIDS victims.
