Public benefits
The direct public benefit which flows from this purpose includes that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities, or of the services available to them or through an inability to express their needs effectively and equally. The community are provided with awareness sessions to educate public on benefits
and money advice. The development of social policies and services are influenced both locally and nationally. These benefits are demonstrated through annual statistics in our annual report and progress reports for stakeholders. This includes the number of clients assisted with advice, number of enquiries dealt with, number of forms completed for clients, number of clients represented at tribunal appeals, number of advice telephone call and emails responded to, benefit uptake and money debt advice amounts. The charity’s beneficiaries are the whole community. No harm or private benefit arise from our stated purpose.
