Public benefits
To provide and operate non-profit community transport solutions for public benefit This provides direct benefits in such a way that it provides independence and social inclusion, relieves stress, promotes mental well-being, enhances educational and training and employment opportunities. To assist the charitable work of organisations and bodies
engaged in promoting the relief of persons who are in need through the provision of appropriate services. The direct benefit includes the provision of driver training which can facilitate the organisation to achieve cheaper rates of transport which will save on financial resources. The only Private Benefit to arise from this includes the transfer of training qualifications to enhance driving skills for successful trainees. This is necessary to achieve the purpose and is therefore incidental. Our beneficiaries include people who are elderly, poor, disabled, and people with young children, isolated, community groups and also trustees and volunteers. This benefit is demonstrated through both feedback surveys and also most recently a Social Return on Investment Study carried out by an Independent Company to specifically identify and measure the public benefits of NCCT to beneficiaries. There is no harm arising from these purposes.
