Purpose 1: Improved relationships between home and school The benefit which flows from this purpose includes funding for additional resources for the school and links built with the local community. harm. The benefit is for children at [insert the name of the] school. Charity trustees (PTA committee members) are usually also parents at the school which their children attend and hence gain benefit in the same way as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries. ... [more] [less]What your organisation does
Our organisation is made of a group of elected mums and dads. As a group we strive to ensure that all parents and staff are actively involved in our operation. We do this by seeking regular feedback on events and operation, looking for parental/staff skills to aid run clubs and help at events. We believe that good communication is key and that
is why we publish regular news letters. Every year we organise a calendar of fundraising activities and these includes family and children only events examples of these were family cinema nights, discos and activity days. We agree the expenditure of funds in that they will allways be used to purchase educational resources, equipment and educational activities for all the pupils in the school.
