Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include helping people who believe in the Christian faith to therefore live their lives based on these beliefs and in a more loving, compassionate, morally upright, kind-hearted and generous way. These benefits are demonstrated through the increasing number of attendees at the Church and the large
number of organisations that are and wish to be associated with the Church. We do not believe that the purpose of our charity will lead to any harm or unwanted side effects. The charity’s beneficiaries are all persons primarily but not exclusively in County Down and the wider area who practice or wish to be introduced to the Christian faith. Private benefits that flow from our purpose, other than the authorised salary to the Pastor set out in our Constitution, are the training and experience that the Elders and Deacons will receive in the carrying out of their duties. This training is necessary in order to effectively carry out the purpose of the charity and is therefore incidental.
