Public benefits

The trustees believe that both our purposes satisfy both elements of he public benefit requirements Purpose 1 The direct benefits which flow from this purpose is sharing the fulfilment of life knowing Jesus Christ and how all lives can be turned around for better. This benefit is evident through feedback from the young people, volunteers and

local churches. This purpose does not lead to harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are young people primarily in the age band 12-25 living in the Rathfriland area. A private benefit to the trustees and volunteers may arise from are program of ongoing training i.e. child protection, first aid, food hygiene etc. Through this training trustees and volunteers gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Purpose 2 The direct benefits which flow from this purpose is that these young people have a safe place to meet on a Saturday night to listen about how they can turn their lives around and not get into any trouble. This benefit is evident through feedback from local representatives, PSNI, and health bodies. This purpose does not lead to harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are young people primarily in the age band 12-25 living in the Rathfriland area.
