Public benefits

The direct benefits that flow from the purposes are • participants have access to facilities that are safe and non threatening where they can find help and assistance in helping them deal with issues in their lives. • that the beneficiaries through training and person centred programmes will have increased self worth and esteem, develop good

positive life skills, develop resilience to cope with hard season in life, reduction in self harm, depression and addictions, reduced levels of stress and anxiety, and are able to gain informal accredited training to help develop their employability. These benefits will be evidenced through recording the life change in beneficiaries, feedback form the participants, and various evaluation techniques to measure the life change that is happening. There is no harm that will outweigh the benefit The charities beneficiaries are people within the Newcastle and surrounding area who might be experiencing disadvantage (i.e. mental, social, emotional, physical or spiritual). Due to the wide range of services and training we offer trustees and staff might gain knowledge and skills through this which will be of benefit to them however this is incidental.
