Public benefits
The male community of Fermanagh & West Tyrone are those expected to the section of society which will benefit from the Men Empowerment Network. The benefit from M.E.N to the males of Fermanagh & West Tyrone is to be a reduction in substance & alcohol abuse through individual & group counselling. Our organisation hopes to see a lower rate of
domestic violence within the area and a better understanding of how to deal with domestic violence from a male perspective, both as a victim and a perpetrator, through individual & group counselling. Furthermore, M.E.N wishes to work with educational institutions to encourage both young & old males to continue education, therefore leading to a rise in self-esteem for individuals. M.E.N will look also at working with young & old offenders within the local area and we hope to see a drop in reoffending in young people, whilst helping older offenders looking for work and/or educational courses to lower the chances of reoffending in older people. We can confirm that there is no private benefit to any person or organisation from M.E.N We can confirm that there is no possibility of harm to any individual or groups through the work of M.E.N.
