(a) Regular church meetings improve spiritual, mental and emotional well-being through prayer for needs, Biblical teaching and public worship of God. Demonstrated by attendance at meetings, personal testimonies, pastoral visitation and discussion at Bible study groups. As the activities are voluntary no harm will be experienced. Benefits are

(b) Training leaders and volunteers include: Providing teaching for young people and adults through Christian education, discipleship and leadership training. Equipping volunteers to develop projects and run community outreach work. Financially and otherwise supporting individuals in training for ministry, community outreach and missionary work. Resourcing relevant training courses, registration, evaluating courses recording feedback. Leaders trained and qualifications recognized. Projects and programmes monitored and evaluated. No harm. Benefits are for church members and general public. No private benefits. (c)Performing religious ceremonies include: Legalization of marriages in a church setting. Fulfilling requirements of the Christian faith. Comforting and supporting individuals experiencing sickness, hospitalization and bereavement. Helping those who need counselling for crisis and difficulties of life. Benefits are demonstrated by registration of participants, recording number of hospital visits, an application procedure for prayer ministry and counselling. No harm as activities are voluntary. Benefits are for church members and general public. No private benefits. (d)Promoting Christianity and Christian education include: Church members becoming more equipped and experienced in helping others. People introduced to the Christian faith and experiencing a change of behaviour for good in their lives. Improved relationships, family life and more wholesome personal lifestyles. The advancement of peace and reconciliation in our society. Benefits are demonstrated by increased church membership, personal testimonies and feedback during pastoral visits, evaluations after teaching and training sessions. No harm will result because of a gentle, kind approach to others. Our values reflect equality and transparency and non-threating outreach methods when relating to the general public. Benefits are church members who become more experienced in helping others. General public also benefit by the help they receive from the church. No private benefit. e) Nurturing fellowship and social interaction include: Overcoming isolation through social events. Individuals developing social skills and a sense of being valued thus enhancing self- worth, confidence and belonging. Opportunity for individuals to exercise personal talents and giftings, leadership skills and learning to value others. Fun, laughter and happiness from group activities. Nurturing a sense of well-being, mental health and overcoming mental illness. Benefits are demonstrated through: Numbers participating in social activities. Personal testimonies. (f) Benefits from providing Christian social care include: People receive physical and practical help - food, clothing, furniture, temporary accommodation and transport. People receive practical help for moral and emotional support during a crisis. People in a missionary, third world or persecution context receive physical and practical help. This is demonstrated by our social care guidelines: Fundraising activities and financial recording of all provisions. A confidential application system for help which records each case. Monitoring and follow-up is carried out by the church leadership team and evaluation records are filed. No harm. Benefits

What your organisation does

1. The Advancement of Religion - We provide regular church services and worship meetings as well as conferences, seminars, children and young peoples' programmes. We perform religious ceremonies including holy communion, baptisms, christenings, marriages and funerals, hospital visitation, prayer ministry and counselling. We provide fellowship

and social interaction in a christian environment. 2. The advancement of Education - We educate people about Christian life. We provide Biblical teaching for adults, youth and children. We train leaders, elders and volunteers for Christian service in our community. We also run training courses for spiritual, mental and emotional well-being both in the church and in community. 3. The Advancement of Citizenship and Community Development - We equip members of the church to participate in evangelistic activities and help others in community. We teach peace and reconciliation in a cross-community setting through seminars, workshops, conferences and websites. We provide Christian social care at home and overseas by the provision of food, clothing and sponsorship where needs are identified.

Charitable purposes

The church is established for the advancement of Christianity in our local community and in Northern Ireland primarily but also in any part of the world and in particular : a) to provide regular church services and worship meetings, conferences and seminars, children's and young people's programmes. b) to train pastors, leaders, elders and volunteers so that they may work on projects promoted by the church. c) to perform religious ceremonies including holy communion, baptisms, christenings, marriages and funerals, hospital visitation, prayer ministry and counselling d) to promote Christianity and educate people about Christian life in the area of benefit by teaching peace and reconciliation based on the word of God in a cross communitylcross border setting by ail means of communication whether visual, verbal or written. e) to nurture fellowship and social interaction in a Christian environment for children, young people and adults. fl to facilitate Christian social care both in the church and in the local community.
