Gateway Christian Fellowship has adopted the following public benefit statement The Synod of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ireland (RPCI) was established in 1811. The RPCI believes in the triune God of Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that its members can enter into a relationship with that God through acceptance of Jesus Christ as Saviour
and Lord. That relationship is expressed through a range of activities. The purposes of the RPCI include:- • Promoting the celebration of public religious worship • Spreading the doctrines of the Christian faith • Providing advice, counselling and support • Providing opportunities for fellowship among members • Carrying out missionary and outreach work • Training of students for the Christian ministry through the Reformed Theological College Beneficiaries The weekly worship services and Bible study and prayer groups are open to members and adherents and other members of the public who may wish to attend. Only those who meet the membership requirements of the denomination may participate in the observance of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion). Outreach work is conducted in the neighbourhoods of the places of worship and in those areas where the denomination is seeking to establish a presence. Many congregations maintain a website which will include access to audio recordings of services including sermons. Benefits • The provision of churches as places of worship • Public worship of a devotional nature • Provision of a moral/ethical framework based on Biblical principles • Opportunities for social interaction among members and with the public in general • Encouragement to live and participate in and contribute to community life based on Christian principles Demonstration of Benefits The benefits are easily demonstrated in that Congregations provide places for meeting and worship. These are open to all. Other benefits will be seen in the lives of people conforming more and more to the highest ethical and moral standards in accordance with Christian faith. Benefit to the public will be demonstrated as those who interact with the church are lead to a better manner of life. Harm There will be no harm as a result of the work of the church. Private Benefit The only private benefit within the context of the work of the Church will be the deeper understanding and experience gained by those who are involved in promoting the aims the Church.

Gateway Christian Fellowship meets each Lord's Day Morning for public worship at 13a Pump Street, Derry at 11.00 am with an average attendance of around 20. Sermons are recorded and are available for download on the congregation's website: www.gatewaycfderry.org The Fellowship meets for Bible Study at 13a Pump Street, Derry on Lord's Day
evenings and on Thursday evenings. Worship Services consist of prayer to God, reading of the Bible, the signing of psalms in praise to God, the collection of an offering and the preaching of sermons from the Bible by the minister of the congregation. The sacrament the Lord's Supper is observed each May and November and the sacrament of Baptism is observed on occasion. The Congregation is ministered to by a full time minister, Rev Stephen Neilly. Rev Neilly preaches and leads worship each week and also leads Bible studies, distributes Christian literature around homes in Derry / Londonderry, meets for one-on-one Bible study with members of the public who express an interest and meets for Bible study and to provide spiritual instruction to members of the congregation. A number of public meetings have been advertised and held in the Maldron Hotel, Derry / Londonderry over the years since the congregation's establishment (see website for details). Members of the congregation are involved in the life of the wider denomination of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ireland, for example in residential summer camps for children and young people and outreach teams in other congregations.
