Public benefits
The purpose of the trust is the promotion of religion. The benefits that flow from this purpose, are that individuals lead a more fulfilled and purposeful life. In addition they have a focus on how to better themselves and those around them and finally, they are relieved from financial hardship. This can be clearly demonstrated, as the financial
assistance that is given to either an organisation or an individual can be measured. This is either by corporate governance put in place by the organisations themselves, or by the output of clear tangible benefits to individuals receiving the assistance. No harm can possibly come from the purpose of the charity. There is no private benefit, and as stated previously, a wide range of individuals and organisations benefit from the Charity's purpose. These include church bodies, missionaries working in overseas countries, young people involved in sport, organisations set up to provide water and sanitation in overseas countries to name but a few.
