The relevant regulations specified by the Companies Acts and the Charities Commission NI will also be monitored regularly to ensure compliance. Annual accounts will be prepared by the Company's external accountants. We will providing training to employees & volunteers to engage with residents of various communities, community organisations relevant statutory agencies, government departments, local councils &councillors, community safety organisations in the delivery of a range of services that aim to achieve the various objects of the Company. The include a
Welfare Rights Project where members of the public can have appointments with qualified welfare rights officers to seek confidential advice on social security benefits. This service benefits clients in providing sound up to date advice which may alleviate situations of poverty. This service is free to the public. The centre runs regular level one courses in computers/IT/Arts introduction to film etc. to empower members of the community to increase employability and build social and soft skills. These courses are open to all members of the public. These facilities and courses are open to all members of the community. The centre runs health and wellbeing programmes such as Yoga weekly, Hope and Resilience courses, Dance classes and Environmental gardening program open to the public for a grow your own project. We operate a thrift shop (Me2You) to help to elevate the cost of living in our current climate. Clients are also offered counselling and diversionary programmes to improve their prospects and increase self-esteem. Older people in the community benefit from projects that run at the centre, Our Generation 50+ programme. The project caters specifically to men and women through various programmes and meet up at least once a week. There is no private monetary benefit to anyone in the organisation apart from grant funded staff. The Company does not have a Business Plan but will be supported by a range of trustees from other charities and community development companies. As soon as the Company is approved as a Charity it will commence the process of applying for appropriate funding.
