Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from our purpose include increased public awareness, understanding and visibility of the Fermanagh LGBTQIA+ community. this will include improved health and well-being, reduction in social exclusion and levels of stress and anxiety, feelings of loneliness and isolation will be alleviated for LGBTQIA + people in

Fermanagh. The benefits will be evidenced through verbal feedback and evaluations from LQBTQIA+ individuals, volunteers, family members and friends. Benefit will also be evidenced by the numbers of people seeking support from Fermanagh Pride and attending events and activities. The Trustees do not see any harm associated with these purposes. The charity’s beneficiaries are those residing in the Fermanagh area, our Service is free and accessible to all persons aged 18+ in the Fermanagh area. Any individual who identifies as being from the LGBTQIA+ community, living in Fermanagh. The beneficiaries will primarily be from Fermanagh but will also include people from across Northern Ireland. Private benefit to Trustees may arise from ongoing training that a Trustee may attend in relation to good governance, finance etc. Through this training Trustees gain skills and expertise which are transferable to other settings. Trustees as members of the LGBTQIA+ community will benefit through being able to participate in and enjoy events and activities planned and organised by the Fermanagh Pride Group. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all our beneficiaries.

we organise a number of fundraising events through out the year to raise awareness for the lgbtqia+ community. we make the community aware of service available to them through sign posting. we organise activities through out the year aiming to improve the health and well being of our local community. we encourage everyone to get involved in are

activates to promote inclusion for all.

Charitable purposes

The Constitution of Fermanagh Pride has the following as it’s intended goals:  To introduce and develop an LGBTQIA+ safe space within the local community.  To promote and celebrate equality of community in Co. Fermanagh (and beyond).  To raise awareness of LGBTQIA+; community, issues, services, and activities to the general public.  To promote inclusion and diversity of general population in Fermanagh (and beyond).  To improve understanding and foster positive attitudes of cultural and human differences between communities.  To promote socially inclusive activities and services for mental health and wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ community and it’s Allies.
