and access to legal services. All services are free and accessible. A majority of beneficieries cannot afford private counselling and the NHS has long waiting lists, our charity helps remove barriers to trauma counselling by covering the cost so that it can be accessed in a timely manner, ultimately preventing further deterioration of mental health over a longer period of time and alleviating pressures on the NHS. The Charities purposes support improved mental health and provide emotional& practical support. The charity organises family and fun days to connect individuals and families, an annual memorial service remembering victims of road crashes, both those that have lost their lives and survivors, along with an online memorial to reach people that cannot attend in person. These events support beneficiaries to develop social support, meet other people that have experienced trauma/loss. The charity supports local communities/ groups in the aftermath of road crashes by working in partnership with other charities to support (in particular, young) people to come together to remember their loved one/friend through a series of activity based workshops. The charity saves lives through road safety education initiatives & facilitates road safety education talks to schools, colleges and community groups to raise awareness, reduce risk taking behaviours and attitudes and we advocate for individuals, families and communities with regards to road safety issues. We work directly with MLA's and DFI, in particular through our 'A1 How Many Must Die' campaign to ensure more lives are saved through improved road infrastructure These benefits are evidenced through the number of referrals received, feedback/evaluation/of services /initiatives/events from beneficiaries, partner organisations such as other charities, community groups, statutory services and Trust teams. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. No individual within the organisation nor any other organisation gains a private benefit from the purpose of the charity and its out-workings. The Charities beneficiaries are anyone in Northern Ireland or Ireland that have been affected in any way by a road crash eg people bereaved, people that have endured minor or life changing injuries and their families / friends, witnesses to a crash, people suffering PTSD due to a crash, first responders, medical staff.
