This benefit is for students attending St. Killian’s College. Purpose 2: increasing links between the school and its local community and providing funding for

additional resources for the school. This benefit is for both students attending St. Killian’s College and members of the local community in the catchment area served by the school. Purpose 3: the benefit flowing from this purpose is the provision of additional funding and other resources to allow pupils attending St. Killian’s College to have access to resources, events and activities not available through direct school funding. The benefit is for children attending St. Killian’s College. None. St Killian's College and its community. No private benefit.

Friends of Garron Tower is an organisation made up of volunteer staff, parents and friends of St. Killian’s College, Garron Tower for the purpose of organising social events and undertaking other activities such as application for grants and other state and NGO funding with a view to developing and strengthening relationships between home and

school and raising funds to provide children attending St. Killian’s College, Garron Tower access to resources, events, activities and links to the local community which are not available through direct school funding.

Charitable purposes

The purpose of Friends of Garron Tower is to support and advance the education of the pupils of St Killian’s College. This will be carried out through: 2.1 Promoting the education, health and well-being of the student population of St Killian’s College, Garron Tower. 2.2 Developing effective relationships between the families and friends of past and present students and teachers and others associated with St Killian’s College, Garron Tower. 2.3 Engaging in activities that will help establish and provide an additional stream of funding to help with the school community development to enhance provision both in terms of curricular resources and extra-curricular activities in order to support the work of the College and advance and enhance the education and opportunities available to the pupils.
