Public benefits
Christians in the Donaghadee and North Down area will have the opportunity to praise and worship, receive Christian teaching, and to pray and study the bible together. Anyone not able to attend in person will be able to watch the live streaming on social media. Non-Christians and members of the general public can share in our services to gain an
understanding of the Christian faith and we promote our church activities by on-line advertising, shop window advertisements and leaflet distribution . The community will benefit from community initiatives such as supporting the local Food Bank, and running events for the needy in the wider community, such as free lunches for the needy and/or isolated. The benefits can be judged by the number of church members and by the number of members of the general public attending our activities. It can be judged by the social activities we will run, such as the lunch and warm space event we provided free of charge on 27th Dec 22, which was free to all. It can also be measured by the level of financial and other support we provide to other charities in the area such as the local Food Bank. There is no harm arising from our purposes. The beneficiaries are people in the Donaghadee and North Down area, and are : a) Christians looking for a relaxed, informal, family friendly, bible based church to join. b) Members of the general public interested in finding out more about Christianity in a less formal church setting. c) Disadvantaged and isolated people benefitting from social activities. There is no private benefit flowing from any of our purposes.
