The Sam McBride Temple MCC Charitable Trust

Registered

Charity no. 109125 Date registered. 25/10/2023

Public benefits

The direct benefit that flows from the charity’s purposes is the provision of support (both financial and other) for persons injured and their families and dependents, as a result of amateur road racing, testing, trials and competitions, who are involved in some capacity on any race track, test trial, or competition circuit in properly organised

road races, test trials and competitions, and to support the work of the air ambulance. In addition to offering financial support the trustees intend to hold events to bring the amateur motor racing community together such as a regular commemoration event to remember and support those injured and their families and honour those who have lost their lives at amateur road racing; to raise awareness of road safety connected with amateur road racing and to celebrate the community engagement and mutual support within the family of amateur road racing. These benefits can be identified by obtaining feedback from the charity’s beneficiaries who are persons injured as a result of amateur road racing, testing, trials and competitions and their families and dependents and also the air ambulance service and other associated charities who receive support whether financial or otherwise. There is no harm arising from any of the charity’s purposes in providing these benefits and there are no private benefits flowing from the purpose of the charity.
