Public benefits
The public benefit is that older people in the Ards Peninsula region are offered the opportunity to continue to learn, share their knowledge and skills and make new friends in a convivial and stimulating environment thus reducing social isolation and contributing to members staying physically and mentally healthy. The benefit is demonstrated by
sustaining and growing our membership and participation levels in our group activities. There is no harm arising from our purpose. Our membership is open to anyone who is retired or no longer in full time employment. There is no private benefit arising from our purpose.
