Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from purpose (a) include: • The gospel of Jesus Christ is communicated among people resulting in a personal faith in Him, that continues to grow and results in lives lived in a law-abiding, moral and godly manner. • An improved sense of wellbeing and belonging as people enjoy fellowship with others and receive
teaching from the Bible within a supportive Christian community. The direct benefits flowing from purpose (b) include: • Spiritual, emotional and physical needs of people with sight loss being met. • Reduced sense of isolation and increased friendships being developed among people with sight loss and sighted people. The direct benefits flowing from purpose (c) include: • The general public acquiring knowledge about sight loss and the support available. • People with sight loss understand better how to utilise Christian content in accessible formats, which can aid their development of personal faith. The benefits will be demonstrated through feedback obtained from the beneficiaries or their family members. The trustees do not anticipate that any harm will flow from any of the purposes. The beneficiaries are people with sight loss and the general public. The trustees are unaware of any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

• Social events bring people with sight loss and sighted people together. They have a focus on friendship, Christian content and educating people about useful resources and services for blind and partially sighted people. • Outreach events are centred around sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. • Holidays specially arranged for people with
sight loss with Christian content and time to develop friendships. • Advice and support for people with sight loss on how they can utilise accessible Christian content in a suitable format for their needs. • Providing links to other services using a holistic approach. We aim to provide information about other services that are available for people with sight loss.
