Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from our purpose to advance Christianity include encouraging moral improvement, good citizenship, adherence to Christian values and an understanding of the Christian faith. These benefits can improve mental health, the feeling of belonging to a community and giving meaning to this life and hope of eternity. The

direct benefits which flow from our purpose to relieve the need through poverty and sickness includes improving the quality of the lives of individuals which benefit from the actions of our network and as needs arise funds being dispersed to strategic charity partners. The direct benefits which flow from our purpose to advance education through the provision of training and education include the sustainment of, and increases in, individuals’ knowledge and understanding, skills and expertise which are useful as part of a person’s total education and the provision of ‘lifelong learning’ resources for marketplace leaders and the general public. The benefits of our purposes are demonstrated through numbers attending events, demand for access to materials, internal evaluation, focus groups and feedback from beneficiaries. We believe that no harm can come from the charity’s purposes. The Charity’s beneficiaries are the general public who are able to access a wide range of events and material. The only private benefits flowing from our purposes would be to the employees of and suppliers to the Ministry. These benefits are incidental and are necessary to the organisation achieving its purposes.

What your organisation does

The Genesis Network seeks to make Jesus Christ known to marketplace leaders in the business community through events, media and equipping our network. We seek to resource Christian business people, professionals and marketplace leaders in living out their faith in the marketplace by providing them with opportunities for training and education. We

seek to create opportunities for strong relationships to be created and discipleship to take place within our network. We seek to raise awareness within our network of social needs locally and globally and encourage our network to tackle these issues as individuals and from time to time tackling these issues as a network.
