Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from the organisation's purposes: 1. Direct financial support to registered health support charities. These charities focus their resources on the provision of services to provide comfort or services to people who are sick or convalescent. 2. Direct financial support for individuals who are incapacitated due to

ill-health. This support allows the individual to focus on improving their health. The financial support is offered to provide comfort services. The benefits are demonstrated through the specific support services that are provided by the beneficiaries to the sick: FINANCIAL SUPPORT Cancer costs. The beneficiaries provide grants and unlock crucial financial support to the sick. NURSES Financial support helps provide expert care, close to home. Nurses reduce hospital visits so families can get on with their lives. A FREE PLACE TO STAY Around the corner from hospital, the Homes from Home keep families together during treatment. PATIENT COMFORT AND CARE By providing thoughtful comforts to help make the hospital feel a little more like home. From a cup of tea and a daily newspaper to help pass the time while waiting on appointments, to giving patients a space away from their beds and busy wards with comfy day rooms. No harm arising from any of the purposes. The beneficiaries are primarily existing registered charities within Northern Ireland that provide support services for the sick. On occasion, the Charity will support individuals directly with financial awards towards support services where a clear benefit to supporting an improvement in health is demonstrated. Within the past year, the following direct beneficiaries of the charity were presented with financial support: £4000 donation to Air Ambulance NI. £4000 donation to Angel Wishes. £4000 donation to Clic Sargent. £4000 donation to Friends of The Cancer Centre Belfast. There are no private benefits flowing from any of the purposes, neither incidental nor necessary.

What your organisation does

Eoin tragically lost his battle with cancer on 14th May 2017 at the young age of 20 years old. Eoin was the most loving, kind-hearted wee fella who never stopped giving. The Eoin Henry Foundation will continue to give and help others in his memory. Our mission is to provide financial support to people suffering with cancer in Northern Ireland.

The Eoin Henry Foundation organises fund raising events throughout the year and distributes the funds to registered charities and individuals to promote the relief of sickness and the preservation of health.
