Public benefits
POOR PUBLIC BENEFIT STATEMENT. The direct benefit flowing from our purposes are additional investment in the school which cannot otherwise be funded by the education authority due to very limited budgets. All beneficiaries would not ordinarily have access to the equipment provided by our organisation were the school to rely solely on funding from
the education authority. The equipment provided has enhanced the educational facilities available to the beneficiaries, and investment in outdoor equipment has added substantially to the schools ability to promote outdoor activities. How can the direct benefits identified be demonstrated?: Each class within the school has their own shed and dedicated area and shed in the school grounds which they have developed and continued to maintain. The waterproof clothing has increased the time spent on outdoor activities, and the new play Trim Trail equipment is very popular with the pupils. The white boards in the classrooms have seen increased interaction, and assisting in building on pupil's IT skills. There is no harm arising from the organisation's purposes. The beneficiaries are the pupils, teachers and parents associated with the school, as well as the local community. There is no private benefit flowing from the organisation's purposes.
