Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from this purpose are an understanding and appreciation of what the Bible teaches about who God is and what he has done for humanity through the life, death and resurrection of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Having a right understanding of this enables appropriate explanation of the truth of the Bible in ways which

are gracious and reasonable. A clear understanding of what the Bible teaches and of its implications for those who follow the Christian faith leads to a desire to live responsibly and productively within society, having due regard for its laws and seeking to care for others and showing concern and compassion for the vulnerable. These benefits can be evidenced by women growing in Christian knowledge and maturity and therefore increasingly being able to articulate central doctrines and application of core Biblical truths to their lives and the lives of those with whom they interact. Those within churches and beyond are able to see the benefit which comes as women who have listened to the messages and / or are reading Christian literature become more confident, articulate and engaging and as they in turn become good role models. We do not anticipate that any harm will flow from the above purpose. The charity’s beneficiaries are the public, in particular women living in Northern Ireland who are Christians or who have an interest in the Christian faith. There is no private benefit to trustees flowing from the purpose. None of the trustees are speakers at the conference or, beyond the reimbursement of expenses which they have incurred themselves, are in any way remunerated for time spent organising the conferences. [Service providers for the conferences are paid for their services at a commercial rate].
