Public benefits
The benefits which flow from our purpose are improvements in wellbeing of our service users and their families through peer support networking, through increased socialisation, reduced marginalisation and depression, the wider community at large benefit from our purpose by gaining an increased awareness and acceptance of Autism Spectrum
Disorder. The benefits can be demonstrated by the continued growth in our service user numbers and also can be demonstrated via feedback from our service users and their families. No The charity's primary beneficiaries are Individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), individuals who are suspected to have ASD, parents and carers of individuals who have ASD and immediate family members of individuals who have ASD, who live within the area of benefit (Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon borough council area). The wider community at large are secondary beneficiaries as they may benefit from an increased awareness and acceptance of ASD. There may be private benefit to our many suppliers but this is all incidental and absolutely necessary. Furthermore, the trustees of the organisation are all service users so they and their families are likely to be beneficiaries of our services. This benefit is necessary as the organisation functions as a peer support network and those who are providing the service, need to have experience in this area.
