Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from purpose for which the Charity is established are for the public benefit and include a reduction in poverty, distress and sickness and improvement in the conditions of homeless people and persons in need. The charity’s beneficiaries include those living in poverty linked to homelessness or those in danger of
becoming homeless, and indirectly benefits their families and friends. Those who also benefit from our services include people with addictions, mental health issues and young and adult vulnerable people, people looking for job and the general public. The charity support people "with" or no recourse to public funds that are at high risk of homelessness and destitution because they cannot access mainstream housing, welfare benefits and employment. The beneficiaries of this purpose are vulnerable homeless adults living in Northern Ireland. There are no private benefits gained from this purpose. Working with and referring people to other statutory and voluntary support agencies and organisations: The direct benefit that will flow from this purpose is a positive change in the service user’s personal situation, be it their physical/mental health or for issues such as housing or benefits. This can be measured through key-working with our service users to monitor improvements in their personal situations. This benefit does not cause any harm.
