Aims The aims of the group shall be to promote the benefit of the residents of Magheraveely and local area, without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for
recreation or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents. Public Benefits The direct benefits which flow from these purposes include provision of a range of social and recreational activities, mainly based within Magheraveely village, for members of the local community living within Magheraveely and surrounding area, members of other neighbouring communities within County Fermanagh and visitors to the area, providing them with the opportunity to avail of activities that assist improve their social interaction and their conditions of life through accessing services and activities that would not normally made available to them. Examples of activities provided being Fair & Sports Days, Coffee Mornings, Trips & Outings for Children & Adults, Community Newsletter, Social Dancing, Defibrillator Provision & Training, Environmental Enhancements, Flower & Tree Planting, Tractor Runs, Vintage Car and Bike runs, Treasure hunts, etc. Many of these activities are organised by the association linking with other statutory organisations and voluntary organisations. Benefits of the activities are evidenced by measurement of numbers participating in activities and receiving of feedback from participants. The only private benefits flowing from our purposes are that Magheraveely Community Development Association members and their families can participate in all activities and this is incidental and necessary to ensure that all members of the district can potentially benefit. There is no harm flowing from the purposes of Magheraveely Community Development Association.
