Education: To provide educational activities, exhibitions, events and publications for the people of Northern Ireland, visitors to Northern Ireland and international audiences regardless of race, gender, disability, age, religion, belief or sexual orientation. Activities that advance their education and understanding of photography, visual arts

and creative technologies, encouraging high standards in the arts and creative industries. The direct benefits, which flow from this purpose include improving valuable skills, abilities and self confidence. Additionally direct benefits include advancement in understanding of culture, heritage, environmental protection, intersectionality and awareness through stimulating thought, debate and discussion. These benefits are hoped to increase positive changes and be evidenced through participant feedback, monitoring and evaluation, surveys and research. Promoting Photography, Visuals Arts and Creative Technologies: To promote photography and visual arts alongside creative technologies for the benefit of the people of Northern Ireland, visitors to Northern Ireland and international audiences . The direct benefits, which flow from this purpose include a greater understanding of culture, heritage and environmental protection, through the photographic medium as a form of self expression, collaboration, participation and documentation. These benefits are evidenced through the commissioning and programming of arts, culture, heritage, environment exhibitions and events, as well as the recorded corresponding visitor, audience and participant figures. Additionally the benefits are evidenced through participant feedback monitoring and evaluation, surveys and research. Organising, Managing and Promoting Photography, Visual Arts and Creative Technology Events Organising, managing and promoting thematic photography, visual arts and creative technology festivals open to the general public in Northern Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland and internationally - including workshops, conferences, portfolio reviews, tours and exhibitions. The direct benefits, which flow from this purpose include advancement of the photographic and visual arts, its audience engagement and impact, as well as increased opportunities for creative practitioners. For participants this includes development, advancement of skills and abilities at all levels, leading to increased employability and career prospects, aiding community development and poverty prevention. For audiences this includes thematically linked benefits including the advancement of environmental protection or improvement and advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation or the promotion of religious or racial harmony or equality and diversity. These benefits are evidenced through commissioning and programminges of arts, culture, and heritage, environment exhibitions and events. The benefits are evidenced through participant feedback and visitor surveys. There is no harm flowing from the charity's purposes. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in or visiting Northern Ireland alongside international collaborators and audiences. A private benefit to trustees may arise from involvement in the activities of the charity, which may incidentally enhance their professional reputation, with an associated benefit to their career.

The organisation coordinates and manages visual arts and creative technology festivals, exhibitions and public engagements from Belfast in Northern Ireland. This includes a diverse range of commissions, events and educational activities such as workshops, talks, conferences, portfolio reviews, tours and screenings. The two main Festivals are:

Belfast Photo Festival, this is Northern Ireland's largest and most established visual arts Festival, which celebrates some of the most innovative local, national and international contemporary photography, consisting of over 30 venues and locations. The event presents high quality exhibitions showcasing some of the finest international and regional photographic talent and benefiting exhibiting Northern Irish artists and the sector through increased exposure and opportunities for professional development through educational events. RENDR, this is a conference and festival exploring the space between creativity and technology. Celebrating creative craft and artistry, RENDR hosts inspiring local, national and international speakers from the worlds of film, gaming, animation, immersive and digital arts. RENDR showcases creative uses of technology, digital art and has a specific emphasis on education, supporting networking and promoting the skills needed to survive and thrive in a converging visual arts and screen sector both nationally and internationally.

The Charity’s objects are specifically restricted to the advancement of education and the promotion of photography for the benefit of the people of Northern Ireland. In particular to organise, manage, and promote photography and visual arts festivals open to the general public in Northern Ireland, including by way of example educational workshops, masterclasses, portfolio reviews, tours and exhibitions;
