The Purpose To advance citizenship or community development for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Gransha area of County Fermanagh and the surrounding area (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") insofar as is exclusively charitable (and without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious

opinion) What benefits flows from this purpose? The direct benefits which flow from the Purpose include: • Increased sense of wellbeing for the citizens of the Gransha area • The creation of opportunities for social, educational and recreational leading to community development and welfare • The maintenance of a purpose built community facility. • Encouragement of identifying the educational and social needs and practical assistance for elderly people and other disadvantaged or vulnerable people within the area of benefit. • Encouragement of community activity without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious opinion. Can you demonstrate this? These benefits are being evidenced through: • Increased numbers of citizens of the Gransha area and beyond using the facility for leisure-time, sport and education • Increased opportunities for leisure-time activity by means of annual social gatherings for music, singing and dancing • Increased membership of organisations which are based in the community facility, eg. Silver flute band, indoor bowling club. • The continued maintenance, repair and improvement to Gransha Hall. Is any harm or possibility of harm outweighed by the benefit? • There is no evidence of harm Who is the benefit for? The beneficiaries are: • The citizens of the Gransha area and beyond. • The people who avail of the community facility to receive instruction in the playing of music or in the sport of indoor bowls or in education programmes for the local farming community and for elderly and other disadvantaged/vulnerable people. • The people who attend social gatherings for music, singing and dancing. Is there any private benefit? Is it incidental or necessary? There are no private benefits.

What your organisation does

The activities of the organisation are an Indoor Bowling Club, musical tuition for flute and drums for all age groups, social and recreational events for all age groups in the area, meeting venue for local people for evening classes for example Farm Safety and Farm Animal Welfare, local history and culture.
