Our organisation's sole purpose is to provide the general public such as Householders, Landlords, Students, the medical profession, Emergency Services and Police of Northern Ireland with support and information on the dangers of Carbon Monixide Poisoning. Our aims and objectives are to raise awareness of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

throughout Northern Ireland and to provide audible alarms free to the elderly, students and those vulnerable in our society. Our sole purpose as an organisation is to ensure the General Public of Northern Ireland benefit from the service we provide. By advancement of education on the dangers of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. What is Carbon Monoxide Poisoning? How to Tell If You Are At Risk?What Are The Symptoms of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning? Preventative Measures Everyone should know. Provide relief to those vulnerable in our society by providing free audible alarms which enhance their health and save lives. Our aim and objectives are to ensure the general public are aware of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning and what measures they need to take to keep them safe in their own homes, Garages, Caravans, Tents and Boats to promote Awareness of this silent killer and save lives and enhance the health of others. We provide audible alarms free to the elderly, students and those vulnerable in our society and encourage those who can afford to purchase their own alarm/alarms to do so. Our purposes are to prevent deaths by Carbon Monoxide Poisoning within Northern Ireland.

What your organisation does

Raise awareness of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning throughout Northern Ireland. By educating the general Public such as Householders, Landlords, students, the elderly, the Medical Profession, Emergency Services and Police on the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisoning by providing support through, telephone, email, Literature and Seminors.

We have liased with many Borough Councils, Environmental Health Departments and Home Safety Officers, throughout Northern Ireland, providing them with audible alarms and literature to be distributed to the elderly and families with young children. We have provided Seminars, support and literature on the dangers of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning and provided audible alarms to the following groups. HAP Groups, Health and Social Trust. Universities, Colleges, Primary and Grammar Schools. Various Community, Church and vulnerable groups. Extra Care - Who give daily care to the elderly in their own homes. Various Chartities such as Cancer Fund for Children - provided them with audible alarms and literature for their Respite homes. Research and keep up to date with information on Carbon Monoxide by liaising with the Health & Safety Executive of Northern Ireland (HSENI) and The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA). We also liaise with other charities involved with Carbon Monoxide Awareness in various countries around the world. Speaking to many who have also experienced this lose.

Charitable purposes

3.1 The Association is established to advance education, provide relief to those in need and to advance the health of and save the lives of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland (‘the area of benefit’) and in particular: a) to educate the public generally and specific groups in particular, such as landlords, local authority staff, the police, schools and fire services, medical and legal professionals and government bodies and employees, about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning; b) to provide relief to those in need by encouraging and facilitating the installation and maintenance of carbon monoxide monitors in the homes of vulnerable people and those on low incomes; c) to advance the health of people and save the lives of some of the people in the area of benefit by raising awareness of the importance of having a carbon monoxide monitor in every home.
