Indirect Beneficiaries include – Wider population, academic research, policy makers and public agencies. Purpose 2 – to provide individuals with space to explore and understand their feelings in relation to past traumatic experiences. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include - The processing of traumatic experiences - A reduction in distressing symptoms - Less isolation. These benefits can be demonstrated by - Active participation in programmes and projects - Feedback from clients in relation to their levels of distress and feelings of isolation. The beneficiaries of this purpose are Direct Beneficiaries include - Individuals, families, and communities affected by the conflict. Indirect Beneficiaries include – Wider population, academic research, policy makers and public agencies. Purpose 3 – to provide individuals with a supportive and safe environment in which they can maximise and actively negotiate various routes for change in the development of their lives and community. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include - Increased confidence and ability to improve personal health & well-being. - Increased motivation & willingness to participate in personal & community development activities. These benefits can be demonstrated by - Personal health improvement indicators, including reported improved relationships, reduction of distressing symptoms, participation in work etc. -Increased level of participation in community programmes and activities. Indirect Beneficiaries include – Wider population, academic research, policy makers and public agencies. Purpose 4 – to provide a durable community-led support system. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include -The establishment of a trusted support system which can respond to the evolving needs of the local community. -The provision of an effective community based mental health & well being service. - The ongoing professional development of the organisation’s skills, knowledge and abilities. These benefits can be demonstrated by - Level of active engagement and participation in organisation by local families and individuals. - Improved levels of health & well-being. - Ongoing development of relevant programmes, projects and services.
