This is demonstrated through the having access to resources, equipment which would not otherwise be available, events will ensure links with the local community, to provide care through links achieved for the elderly, infirmed and disabled inhabitants of the area. Glenavy Community Support Group is made up of residents in the community of Glenavy. All residents are encouraged to become actively involved, to support the functioning of the facility, to assist with fundraising events and supply the volunteer manpower which is required. As a committee we always evaluate and monitor the initiatives which we run
to ensure that they are as successful as possible and to gauge the opinion of the community and to keep them actively informed. Glenavy Community Support Group retain close links with statutory authorities and voluntary and community sector organisations.
