The beneficiaries of this purpose are people living in the community and visitors to the parish of Ballinascreen and its environs of South Derry. A private benefit to trustees does not arise. Purpose (b) The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the promotion of healthy recreation in the area of benefit to preserve good health to the community. These benefits are demonstrated through verbal feedback from families of individuals partaking in the healthy recreation. This purpose does not lead to harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are people living in the community and visitors to the parish of Ballinascreen and its environs of South Derry. A private benefit to trustees does not arise. Purpose (c) The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include those determined by the directors applied for charitable purposes beneficial to the community, the area of benefit. These benefits are demonstrated through verbal feedback from families of individuals partaking in the facilities and services provided. This purpose does not lead to harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are people living in the community and visitors to the parish of Ballinascreen and its environs of South Derry. A private benefit to trustees does not arise. Purpose (d) The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the provision of sport and cultural activities provided to the area of benefit to aid in the promotion of the Gaelic ethos within the community. These benefits are demonstrated through verbal feedback from families of individuals partaking in the facilities and services provided. This purpose does not lead to harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are people living in the community and visitors to the parish of Ballinascreen and its environs of South Derry. A private benefit to trustees does not arise.

Charitable purposes

The Charity is established: (a) to provide or assist in the provision of facilities and services primarily for the benefit of the community and visitors to the parish of Ballinascreen and its environs of South Derry (hereinafter called the area of benefit) for recreational, sporting or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare, such facilities being provided to the public at large without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, with the object of improving their conditions of life; (b) to promote and preserve good health through community participation in healthy recreation; (c) for such other charitable purposes beneficial to the community consistent with the objects above as the directors shall in their absolute discretion determine; and (d) to promote the Gaelic ethos within the community through the provision of quality sports and related cultural activities for all.
