The direct benefits which flow from purpose #1 include children and young people understanding that God loves them and that He died for them and wants to save their eternal souls and give them abundant life to-day. This benefit is demonstrated by children and young people who, of their own free will by simple faith, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ
as their own and personal Saviour. Children and young people are beneficiaries of #1 when by faith the accept God’s Salvation and being thankful for what He did for them at Calvary seek to live for Him by the power of His resurrection. Children and young people who trust Christ as their Saviour have an inward peace. God’s Salvation is a free gift and no private benefit is gained by anyone as a result of the purpose being carried out. The direct benefits which flow from purpose #2 include encouraging children and young people who have of their own free will accepted Christ as Saviour to attend and get involved in local fellowships of like precious faith. Purpose #2 is demonstrated by children and young people who have of their own free will trusted in Christ as their Saviour attending bible believing fellowships. The intended beneficiaries of purpose #2 are local bible believing fellowships No harm comes from this purpose as all local bible believing fellowships should have Child Care Procedures in place. No private benefit is gained as a result of this purpose The direct benefits which flow from purpose #3 include young people and adults better equipped with leadership skills trained in the presentation of the gospel within Child Care guidelines. The confidence and abilities of young people and adults are developed by participating in leadership training. Young people and adults are the intended beneficiaries of this purpose. No harm comes from this – to the contrary it builds confidence. No private benefit is gained as a result of this purpose being carried out. The direct benefits which flow from purpose #4 include giving people a clear understanding of the gospel and what CEF does. Benefits of this purpose are demonstrated by the number of children, young people and adults who use reply slips provided within literature given out. The gospel is for the ‘whosoever will’ – all are invited. Jesus Christ says he has come to give life and life more abundantly. No private benefit is gained as a result of this purpose. The direct benefits which flow from purpose #5 includes young people and adults of their own free will deciding to serve the Lord through the auspices of CEF This purpose is demonstrated by the number of young people and adults who volunteer for full or part-time work with CEF. Children and young people are the intended beneficiaries of this purpose as the volunteers and full-time workers seek to bring the gospel to them. The gospel protects children and young people from harm and keeps them from a life of self harm and destruction. Full-time workers are supported by the Charity, but are not part of the governing body.
