Purpose (Object) A The direct benefits which flow from purpose (a) includes giving people a meeting place to get together with others to do enjoy social interaction and to take part in activities of a social and recreational nature. The participants learn new skills and share their own knowledge and skills with each other. These benefits are
demonstrated through feedback from participants and beneficiaries and by the level of uptake of our activities. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in the Rowallane area of Down District. There will be no private benefit to trustees. Purpose (Object) B The direct benefits which flow from purpose (b) includes encouraging people to become active in a voluntary capacity, organise groups if required and use our facilities and activities to make life better for themselves and their neighbours. These benefits are demonstrated through the number of groups using our facilities and any feedback which they give us and by the level of uptake of our activities. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in the Rowallane area of Down District. A private benefit to trustees may arise from our programme of ongoing support to community and voluntary groups. Through this support trustees may gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Purpose (Object) C The direct benefits which flow from purpose (c) includes the education of people in a range of subjects including Horticulture, the environment, gardening, computer training, numeracy and literacy and so on. These benefits are demonstrated through the number of people completing the courses, feedback from participants and beneficiaries and by the level of uptake of our activities. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in the Rowallane area of Down District. A private benefit to trustees may arise from our programme of ongoing training and education programmes. Through this training trustees may gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Purpose (Object) D The direct benefits which flow from purpose (d) includes providing neutral space in the town of Saintfield which will be promoted to the whole community regardless of religion, ethnic origin or personal background. These benefits are demonstrated through the number and background of the people using our facilities using attendance and evaluation sheets. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in the Rowallane area of Down District. There will be no private benefit to trustees from this purpose.

Our organisation has been created to do the following: To develop the physical infrastructure of the Rowallane Community Hub so that it becomes a modern and accessible space, available to the community • To establish The Barn@Rowallane as shared space for the community • To establish The Allotments@Rowallance to generate produce for sale and
establish innovative eco projects. • To deliver Education@Rowallane open to all concentrating on horticulture, ecology and through our links with Rowallane Credit Union to improve personal financial management skills. • To establish the Community Tradesman service, offering affordable and reliable trades services, and supporting local traders get employment and income • To become a sustainable social enterprise that creates job opportunities and contributes significantly to the physical infrastructure development of the Saintfield area
