Public benefits
The Oxygen Therapy Centre's purpose is to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Electro-magnetic Therapy to people in Northern Ireland with Multiple Sclerosis, Sports Injuries and other medical conditions which would benefit. The direct benefits which would flow from this purpose include improved health outcomes and quality of life. These
benefits are evidenced through feed back from our users and research collected by Professors in Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment & Professors who are the worlds leading scientific experts in magneto-stimulation from all over the world. Testimonials are available to view on our website, www.oxygentherapycentre.co.uk. There are some rare contra-indications for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment such as sinus pain, claustrophobia and Myopia. However, the medical text book Hyperbaric Medicine Practice States, "Of all the medical treatments carried out in hospitals, Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment is one of the most benign when it comes to side effects. These side effects are rare and the benefits by far outweigh them. There are some contra-indications for Electromagnetic Therapy such as pregnant ladies, diagnosed active cancer, bleeding tuberculosis, electronic implants, joint replacements prior to 1989 (exceptions treat away from area), High blood pressure (use lower intensity). The charity's beneficiaries are people living in Northern Ireland who suffer from neurological/physical conditions. The charity's beneficiaries also include family members and carer's of those who suffer from the above conditions. There is no harm flowing from the purpose of The Oxygen Therapy Centre and no-one gains a private benefit.
