The direct benefit which flows from this purpose includes advancement of the physical and mental welfare and education of the beneficiaries as a result of receiving follow up support and participation in meditation sessions provided by the charity which helps the beneficiaries becoming more positive in their outlook to life, more knowledgeable

about the benefits and teachings of Transcendental Meditation and provides the beneficiaries with the tools to better deal with the hardships of everyday life. Benefits are evidenced through feedback from beneficiaries. The purpose does not give rise to any harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are people living in Northern Ireland. There is no private benefit to trustees.

What your organisation does

The charity provides follow up support for individuals who have learnt Transcendental Meditation. Regular meetings and meditation sessions are organised for the benefit of members some of whom also teach Transcendental Meditation.

Charitable purposes

The purposes of the charity (‘the purposes’) are to advance the education of the public about Transcendental Meditation by offering accessible and relevant activities to the broadest possible range of people in particular (but not exclusively) by:- (1) the provision of follow-up support and participation in meditation sessions to encourage and promote the education of individuals who have learnt Transcendental Meditation and any other activities suitable for achieving this aim.
