Statement of Public Benefit – Friends and Parents of Faughanvale Primary School Association Purpose 1; providing or assisting in the provision of educational facilities at the School ancillary thereto and in furtherance of this object Friends and Parents of Faughanvale Primary School may foster more extended relationships between the staff,
parents and others who befriend the school; The direct benefits are an increase in the educational attainment of the benefitting pupils (inclusive of extra-curricular activities) and a greater cohesion between the school, local community and families. This can be demonstrated by educational records and feedback from attendees at school shows, displays etc. as well as the numbers increasingly attending events. Purpose 2; providing or assisting in the provision of educational facilities at the School ancillary thereto and in furtherance of this object Friends and Parents of Faughanvale Primary School may engage in activities which support the School and advance the education of the pupils attending it. The direct benefits are an increase in the educational attainment of the benefitting pupils (inclusive of extra-curricular activities) and a greater cohesion between the school, local community and families. This can be demonstrated by educational records and feedback from attendees at school shows, displays etc. as well as the numbers increasingly attending events. There is no harm arising out of our purposes and neither is there a private benefit to any individual connected with the organisation.

The organisation seeks to improve the educational experience of pupils in the school by organising events and carrying out fundraising. All funds raised go back into the school to provide, for example, playground equipment, bus hire fees for school trips and fun-day treats which may not otherwise be provided.
