Public benefits
The public benefits which flow from our purposes include improved health outcomes, improved community relations, additional skills through re-training programmes, improved feeling of inclusivity and better access to services – all leading to reduced levels of stress and anxiety. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from statutory
bodies, through participant feedback forms from educational, recreational and leisure classes and annual surveys carried out at social events. There is no harm flowing from our purposes. The beneficiaries are the inhabitants of Eskra and its hinterland and visitors to the area. A private benefit to trustees may arise from our ongoing training in good governance. Through this training, trustees gain skills & experience which can be transferrable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
