Public benefits

The objects of the TWG plus are as follows To Help visually impaired people in Co Armagh and Co Down to keep fit and socialise. These benefits are evident by the number of people who attend and the increase in members each year. There is no harm to any members in our activities. The beneficiaries are the visually impaired residents of Co Armagh and

Co Down. There are no private benefits. The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is improvement in health for our members. Our members provide us with feedback of the benefits to them. None of our members are at risk to them selves or others. The benefit is for visually impaired people. There is no private benefit to any one, member or otherwise.

What your organisation does

We meet on a weekly basis from April to September for Tandem cycling and walking in our local park, and once a month for walking at various venues in our local council area. We would be unable to do any of this without our volunteers who serve as front riders for the blind cyclists and sighted guides for those who enjoy walking.
